2.Have a blast at L’International des Feux Loto-Québec

When: July 2 to August 6, 2026
Where: La Ronde, Parc Jean-Drapeau, Montréal

For its 40th edition, L’International des Feux Loto-Québec invites you to a spectacular fireworks competition showcasing world-renowned pyrotechnic firms. The opening show will look back at and celebrate the history of the last four decades.

This year, the following countries are competing to light up the Montréal skyline:

  • Hungary
  • Italy
  • China
  • Canada
  • United States
  • Australia

The season will close with the Homage to Legends theme—an extraordinary show bringing together musical highlights that have marked the event since its first edition, in 1985.

Check out the program and be sure to snag a spot on Lac des Dauphins at La Ronde for the very best sound and light experience.

3.Groove to the beat of Festivent

When: July 29 to August 2, 2026
Where: Parc Champigny, Lévis

Music, family, and hot air balloons: a sure-fire formula for success! For over 40 years, Festivent de Lévis has been bringing people of all ages together to enjoy its mind-blowing festivities. Marvel at impressive hot air balloons and take part in family activities (play zone, inflatable games, climbing wall, Disco Mousse, and more).

Discover Videotron’s mini-golf course, inspired by our connected universe—a three-hole immersive experience that’s just as fun for kids as it is for adults.

To cap off the day, take in one of the musical performances.

The festival has put together a red-hot line-up, including Marshmello, Salebarbes, Papa Roach, Kaïn, Angine de poitrine, and several other guest artists to satisfy all musical tastes.

Check out the Festivent program and book your tickets today. (Psst! Admission is free for kids 11 and under.)

4.Fly high with Arbraska and uplå

When: All summer
Where: Mont-Saint-Grégoire, Rigaud, Rawdon, Chauveau, Duchesnay, and Laflèche

Looking for a unique activity that combines nature and thrills? Try a treetop adventure on Arbraska’s aerial courses. From children’s trails to extreme adventures, there’s something for everyone, whatever their skill level.

Learn more about Arbraska parks and their activities.

Take some time to discover the uplå trampoline course. Leap, slide, climb, and laugh as you explore a world of suspended nets and a fairytale village perched in the trees. This fun, active, and environmentally friendly experience is the perfect way to reconnect with nature and your loved ones!

Break away from the ordinary with the uplå experience.

For an extra dose of wonder and the unexpected, you can also explore a cave or fly through a zip-line course.

5.Get rolling with Tag E-Karting & Amusement

When: Monday to Sunday, all summer
Where: Tag E-karting Centre, Sainte-Thérèse

During the summer months, you also need ideas for activities on rainy days. Our suggestion: an afternoon of karting you won’t soon forget. Co-founded by racing driver Alex Tagliani, Tag E-karting & Amusement features a 0.5-km multi-level indoor karting track—the only one of its kind in Canada. Experience the intensity of speed with electric karts, without the pollution or gasoline odours usually associated with this type of activity.

Three, two, one, we’re booking our tickets for Tag E-Karting & Amusement!

6.Marvel at Parc Oméga, day and night

When: Year-round, including on holidays
Where: Montebello

From the comfort of your vehicle or through the panoramic windows of Parc Oméga accommodations, get up close with local wildlife. Sleep alongside wolves or wander through an illuminated forest under the night sky for a truly magical experience.

Book your day trip or overnight stay at Parc Oméga, feed the animals, and leave with a camera roll filled with pictures of foxes, deer, wild boar, bison, moose, prairie dogs, and other wonders of nature.

7.Savour the Poutine Festival

When: August 6 to 8, 2026
Where: Drummondville

Can’t make it to Festivent and kicking yourself about it? Some of the same artists will be performing the following week at the Poutine Festival at Cégep Drummond.

Videotron invites you try the immersive three-hole mini-golf course—a perfect activity to enjoy between bowls of poutine, once you’ve cleaned yourself off!

Check out Family Saturday, which kicks off at 3 p.m., for various activities and play structures.

Feel free to bring folding chairs, though you’ll likely be up dancing by evening. The musical lineup features a variety of artists, including Cœur de Pirate, The Offspring, Loud, Les Shirley, and Jacques Surette.
