How can I find out if there's a hockey game tonight?

Say "Sports"

Helix TV subscribers: use the voice command to find out the date and time of upcoming games. It's that easy!

You can also say "Sports app" to launch the Sports app and click the right arrow to navigate through the options and the schedule of your favourite teams.

You would like to follow only your favourite teams? Add them to your favourites list. In the Sports app, select a game, then +Add to your list, and choose the team to follow. You'll be able to view the schedule of upcoming games for all your favourite teams at a glance in My list.

For the full schedule of all teams, see the NHL game schedule online.

Enjoy faster live channels

Channels available in a faster live version:

• TVA Sports (1023)
• TVA Sports 2 (1024)
• RDS (1025)
• RDS 2 (1026)
• Sportsnet East (1111)
• Sportsnet One (1116)
• TSN 2 (1121)
• TSN 5 (1124)

Good to know

Faster live channels are available at no additional cost to customers subscribed to Helix TV and to the corresponding sports channel. This feature is available exclusively on Helix TV terminals — it is not available through the Helix TV app or Helix TV online.

Away from home?

Watch the game live on your phone or tablet. You can do this on the Helix TV app, included free of charge with all Helix TV and illico TV plans. Download it from Google Play or the App Store, and don’t miss a single face-off, wherever you are in Québec.

You can also watch NHL hockey online on the Helix TV Web platform. Note that to access TVA Sports, RDS, Sportsnet, or TSN on the app or the Web, those channels must be included in your subscription.

Reminder: faster live channels are available only on Helix TV terminals, not on the app or the Web.

Quick tips for seeing everything with Helix

Dive deeper into the action with these tips for armchair athletes.

Replay a sequence in slow motion

Was the goal good or not? Helix lets you replay it in slow motion as many times as you want, so you can know for sure! Press Pause, then the Fast forward (>>) button to start slow-motion playback.

Become a recording master

• You can schedule the recording of all of a team’s games at once.
• To record a game when you’re away from home, program the recording remotely using the Helix TV app.
• To make sure you don’t miss any of the precious last minutes of a game, in case it runs long, you can manually extend the recording time.
• Standard channels and faster live channels are considered separate channels: a recording scheduled on one version is not automatically duplicated on the other.

Watch multiple games at the same time

• Easily switch between channels using the voice command. For example, say "RDS" or "TVA Sports" to rapidly switch between channels. You can also press the Back button to return to the last channel you tuned to.
• Don't want to miss a thing? You can watch one game on a TV and another on a mobile device or computer. The Helix TV app lets you use up to five devices simultaneously, terminals included.

Restart the game from the beginning

Using the voice remote, say "Replay" to restart the game from the beginning. This feature is available throughout the game. Please note, however, that you can't use fast forward while watching a program using the Replay feature.

Hockey the way you want it

You can enjoy the hockey experience on your own terms — on the screen of your choice, when you want it. With faster live channels and access to exclusive games on Prime Video, you experience every game closer to the action. All you have to do is cheer on your favourite team and watch its thrilling performances. Enjoy the game!
