On which channels will the event be broadcast?
The event will be available in SD, HD, and 4K in Canada on RDS, TSN, CTV, and FOX. Want to access one of these channels?
With Helix TV
Press and hold down the Mic button, and say the name of the desired channel.
With illico TV
Browse the Program Guide or, to find the channel number where you live, check the channel line-up.
Can I watch on the Helix TV app?
Yes. Note that if you plan to watch the game on the Helix TV app away from home, it will only be available on the RDS channel.
I’ll be watching on the Helix TV app. Can I cast it to a big screen?
Yes. You can stream all the action on the TV of your choice. Just use Chromecast, Apple’s AirPlay feature, or Amazon Fire. Note that there could be a delay of a few seconds before the content appears on the screen.
Can I watch the game on a computer?
Yes. From your computer, go to Web TV, then log in using your My Account (Helix TV and Helix TV App) or Customer Centre (illico TV) credentials. In the Search field in the upper right corner, enter the name of the desired channel.
Will I see the American ads?
The ads shown during the game are Canadian. As you may remember, in 2020, the Supreme Court overturned the CRTC decision that allowed American ads to be shown during the broadcast of the big game every year in Canada.
How do I add a Sports channel to my plan?
You can easily change your channels yourself online. Here’s how.
Note that only the Sports option plans allow you to add Sports channels. Don’t have this option? Change your Helix TV plan or your illico plan online before changing your channels.
Warning: It can take up to two hours for a channel change to appear in the Helix environment. If you want to change your channels, make sure you do so in advance!
