Greetings, I will be grateful for any helpful piece of advice on the following problem. I don't know when and how my voicemail stopped working. I can access it by listening for information about the lack of a message. However, callers have no signal and no greeting. Thus, they are not able to record any messages. It seems most providers (Bell, Telus, Rogers) have Name display available for their customers. When is Videotron going to get this service already? I've just received this new Pixel 8, unfortunately I'm over the return date as I don't like it at all! Wished I'd stayed with Samsung! Have been on the phone with my provider everyday to figure out a problem, turns out it was the phone, I told them it was but they didn't believe me! Anyway, I often can't get to get the call to pick up in time so I want to increase the number of rings or length of time to pick up a call! I'm new here and need help! I've recently bought my Pixel 8 Phone, unfortunately I've missed the return date as I don't like it at all, should've stuck with Samsung! I've had nothing but problems since day 1, have been on the phone daily with my provider, they were blaming everything but the phone, turns out it was the phone but they didn't believe me! Anyway, I'm having problems answering the phone in the very short period I'm given! So I need to increase the length of time/number of rings to answer my phone! Hello, I had internet problems tonight, so I started messing around with my phone and checking Helix Fi app. Long story short, I paused my cell phone using my Helix Fi app. Now I cannot use my phone internet to unpause it,I need to use the Helix fi app on the phone. So this may be nitpicking but I thought it was enough of an issue that I should forewarn everyone here. I recently upgraded to aNote 8 on my account. At the store, I specifically said I wanted to keep my old SIM card, and no SIM swap was completed when I picked up the phone. Lo and behold, on my new invoice, I receive a SIM card charge. I find this both amusing and sad that this is automatically charged to customer accounts even if no such service was provided. I could have sworn I already asked this question but I can't find any trace of it. We have mobile plans in Ottawa with Videotron, which I think expire at the end of the year. Our daughter is moving to Vancouver to attend university in August. Can she use her Videotron plan for a few weeks or a couple of months until she gets her permanent address in residence? Last December I signed up for the Canada/US plan. I want to know how to use my phone in the USA? Do I need to use Airplane mode, or some such other thing? Or is it just like using it in another area of Canada and no action is needed? Texts - pictures - calls to Canada from the USA - calls to another cell phone - my wife - with the same plan while in the states. Local calls in the states while in the states. Speed in Europe on partner networks (at least in Germany, Netherlands and Belgium) is downgraded from 5G to LTE, due to partner agreements not optimized yet. (as tested on business trips April 2024 and June/July 2024). This has finally been disclosed to me by Videotron customer service after several support calls. I've done side-by-side tests with my colleagues on the same major networks (T-Mobile, O2, Vodaphone) who have SIM cards from those providers and they are getting 5G and I'm consistently getting only LTE. I've even done this comparison test inside the cell phone providers stores. To my knowledge, only in France, does Videotron have the agreement for 5G. When I was originally considering the Videotron Canada-International plan, none of the sales literature or fine print discloses this fact. So ive got a plan with videotron when they first started offering mobile service which gives me unlimited data. The last few years its been a nightmare they keep trying to get me off my plan. They tell me i cant have lte or 5g cause im on an old plan, and when i travel to toronto the overage fees even when my data is off is minimum 100$ for a few days and thats with data turned off. Now i tried to add the daily travel option they told me i cant do it again unless i change my plan and lose my unlimited data plan. Im at my wits end with this company ive been loyal to them for over 10 years i buy phones from them, i guess they dont appreciate loyal customers. So what im asking is if anyone else is experiencing this and what they are doing about it, because im about to switch to a rogers infinite plan for 200g a month only 65$ and right now im payin 80$ a month but if you leave quebec on my current plan you get overages right away so the novelty is wearing off plus being on 4g affects my service as it switches towers constantly. Bonjour, J’ai acheté une montre IPhone comme cadeau de Noel à ma femme ! Le service à la clientèle Vidéotron m’informe que je ne pourrais connecter la montre de manière indépendante car Vidéotron n’a pas encore le eSIM ??? Je constate dans ce forum que ça fait plusieurs années qu’on demande quand cette technologie sera disponible. Ma question: qu’est ce qui empêche Vidéotron à offrir l’esim. ?
