13 SujetsiPhone XR use in USA
I was told by Videotron that my iPhone XR is not compatible with 5G which is what is used in the States. But I am wondering if they only use 5G or if 4G and LTE are still available with some US carriers and in some States. I am going to Charleston in South Carolina. Let me know if anyone has an answer to this. ThanksRésolu3,7 kVues0like1CommentaireCell network selection
So I'm not sure if something has changed with Videotrons arrangements with other providers, but I notice now that when I leave the ottawa area, my phone is connecting to "Videotron Prtner 1", which I believe is Rogers.... however I never seem to get LTE anymore. If I take the network selection off Automatic and manually select"Videotron Prtner 2", all is good. however I then need to manually switch it back to videotron once back in my network zone. Anyone else experiencing this or somethign similar?Résolu6,1 kVues0like3CommentairesGalaxy Note8 Smart Focus
Hello, Hi, this is for any of you with the Note8. Now that the device has officially a month in the market, can you tell us your impressions? Battery life, overall performance, sPen, dual camera, etc. I read somewhere that the dual focus feature is not as nice as all the hype had made us believe. I will like to know how it compares to the portrait mode of Apple and how well that dual OIS is working out for the Note8. In your opinion does the Note8 is worth getting over the S8+ specially when considering the price hyke between them compared to the features. thanks iosmanRésolu4,4 kVues0like1CommentaireApple Watch Serie 4 Vidéotron ?
Why is Videotron ignoring cellular support for the Apple Watch? We are very happy with our Videotron cellular account and service but my wife and I both want cellular support for our Apple Watches. Are we going to have to move to another provider in order to have that service? Even if we knew cellular support was coming, we might wait rather than leave Videotron It seems there are other customers seeking the same solution.6,9 kVues2likes3CommentairesDaily Traveller Pass / International Roaming not working in India
I'm traveling in India, and cannot get any mobile service for my Videotron Daily Traveller Pass. I've contacted support, and learned that the only Indian carrier they have an agreement with in-country is Tata Docomo. Despite being in the middle of a large city supposedly in that carrier's territory, I cannot get service, and that carrier does not show up as an available Cellular Network in settings / Cellular / Network Selection. Has anyone had success using Videotron roaming in India? What's the trick? iPhone 6S Plus, iOS 12.1.2 The carriers I can see currently are: IDEA 404 999 CellOne IND airtel Vodafone IN Reliance IND-JIO None of those provide service when selected manually. The last word from Videotron support was: get a local SIM card. Seriously.Résolu8,5 kVues0like4CommentairesWifi calling in my account
I updated my iPhone X carrier setting to Videotron 31.1. I have latest iOS 11.2.5. When I turn my wifi calling on, there is a msg showing up to contact Videotron , and it prevent me to enable it. I chatted with customer service and technical support on line, they could not solve it, they ask me to go to the store. I went to a store, they gave me a new SIM card , and tried on another iPhone to enable wifi calling, the same warning shows up, and it could be enabled. And I am so sad that they launch a function but I can’t use it in my account. And no one from Videotron can tell me what happenes to my service.9,3 kVues0like8CommentairesAnimoji Karaoke!
Hard on the heels of its announcements of new phones with unique and revolutionary designs, Apple also announced an offbeat feature on its iPhone X: Animojis! The cute animated avatars follow your facial movements using the phone’s 3D sensors. It didn’t take long for users to start exploiting the capability and post videos combining musical classics with singing Animojis. Apple soon realized the viral potential of the videos and came up with its own version of “Animoji Karaoke”: iPhone X users, have you tried out the feature with your favourite song?4,1 kVues0like1Commentaire
