For more than 50 years, the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) has been showcasing the latest and greatest in tech. This year’s show featured another bumper crop of exciting innovations. As usual, there was buzz about some of the television sets on display. Overall, this was a year for big ideas: 8K was everywhere and super-large-screen TVs were very much in evidence, including modular screen TVs that measured 292 inches (24feet)! In addition to many incremental improvements, there were ground-breaking products and revolutionary designs: flexible screens, roll-up screens, TV screens with ultra-thin bezels or no bezel, transparent screens, TV sets with a motor that rotates the screen to portrait mode.
