Using an LG android chip on an iPhone 6

Hello, Do I need a new chip or can I just swab the LG chip onto an iPhone 6 without changing my cell number ?

The iPhone 6 requires a Nano SIM card. If your LG device have the same type of SIM card, you can simply insert it in your iPhone 6. Otherwise, a new SIM card is required. Don't worry, you can keep the same phone number with your new SIM card.
