Port land line to cell

Hello All,

I was wondering if it was possible to port a land line numebr to a cell phone?

Here is the situation: I moved (6 months ago) and did not bring the land line number (Bell) with us. We had that number for ~25 years. Is it still possible to get that number back and port it to a cell phone?

Under normal circumstances, yes it is possible.

Question will be if bell has given out the number to someone else and if the number is still available.

Might want to try and getting a reservation 1 from bell if possible
